Utility, Right-of-Way & Vegetation Management

Miles, not trees. Corridor work is a production discipline with its own equipment, its own sequencing and its own reporting — and almost nobody in the Mid-South does it.

Corridor work is a different business

Residential tree work is measured in trees. Corridor work is measured in miles, and everything about it is different — the equipment, the crew structure, the production rates, the reporting and the way it gets priced.

What we do in corridors: initial clearing and reclamation on overgrown right-of-way, cycle maintenance on scheduled rotations, danger tree removal on the corridor edge, access road construction and maintenance so crews can actually reach infrastructure, and mechanical clearing where the terrain allows it.

Danger trees are the whole game

Most corridor outages do not come from vegetation growing into the line. They come from a tree outside the maintained corridor falling onto it. Those are the trees that matter, and finding them requires somebody who can read a tree — decay at the flare, a compromised union, a lean that moved, root plate disturbance — and not just measure a clearance distance.

We survey the corridor edge, document what we find, and give you a prioritized removal list with the reasoning attached.

Who we work for

  • Investor-owned utilities and rural electric cooperatives
  • Municipal utilities and public works departments
  • Pipeline and midstream operators
  • Railroads and rail contractors
  • Telecom and fiber
  • Line clearance and utility vegetation management primes

Homeowners: a tree touching the high lines at the top of the pole is your utility’s responsibility — call them, it is generally free. The service drop running from the pole to your house is usually yours, and that we can handle.

FAQ

Utility and Right-of-Way — common questions

Do you work energized?

Tell us the scope and the qualification requirements and we will give you a straight answer about what we field today. We do not put crews near energized conductors without the right qualification.

Do you do cycle maintenance contracts?

Yes — scheduled rotation programs are exactly the kind of work we want.

Can you do access road work?

Yes. Clearing, construction and maintenance so your crews can reach the infrastructure.
