How we are built

The same crews, the same iron, four different kinds of hard

A hurricane deployment and a tight-access backyard removal in Germantown look like different businesses. They are not. Both come down to reading a load path, having the right machine on site, and a crew that does what it said it would do. That is the whole company.

National deployment

Headquartered in Tennessee. Deployable anywhere the weather takes us.

Aaron’s runs two businesses out of one shop. The first serves the Mid-South every single day — removals, trimming, stump grinding, the work that pays the bills and built the reputation. The second loads up and drives toward whatever just happened to somebody else.

Hurricanes on the Gulf. Tornado outbreaks through the plains. Derechos across the Midwest. Ice through the Ohio Valley. When an event takes out a region’s entire local capacity in an afternoon, the only thing that helps is crews arriving from outside it — fueled, equipped, housed and self-sufficient.

If it has trees and it just got hit, call us. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right crew and how fast we can be there.

The founder

Aaron Arnold still runs it

Aaron Arnold started this company in 2001 with a truck, a saw and a rule he has never broken: tell the customer the truth, do the work right, and leave the place cleaner than you found it.

Twenty-five years later the equipment is bigger, the crews are deeper and the map runs coast to coast — but that is still the entire operating philosophy, and he still runs the company. There is no private equity roll-up here, no regional vice president, no franchise agreement. If you have a problem, the man whose name is on the trucks is the man who fixes it.

What Aaron is actually known for in this trade is tight positions. Trees over roofs. Trees between a pool and a sunroom with eighteen inches of daylight. Decayed trunks that cannot hold a climber. Backyards where the only route in is over the house. A customer once described a pine growing directly over her roof coming down in sections after his crew removed a fence panel and built a brace to protect the shed — and then wrote that the site was clean before mid-afternoon. That is thirty years of reading wood and load paths, and it does not come out of a manual.

The other thing worth knowing about him is a story from a customer review. She was collecting bids. Aaron told her to make sure she saw every other company’s insurance paperwork before hiring anybody, so she would not be exposed if somebody got hurt on her property. He handed a prospect the exact question most likely to make her scrutinize him — because it was the right advice, and because he had nothing to hide.

That is the attitude the whole company runs on, from a two-hour stump grind in Bartlett to a multi-crew deployment after a hurricane. Show up when you said. Do what you said. Charge what you quoted. Clean up like you were never there.

The fleet

A ton of equipment, because the right machine is the whole job

Most tree companies in this market will not tell you what they actually own. Here is ours — because whether your tree needs a crane or a climber is the difference between a clean job and an expensive story.

Crane service

Pick whole sections out over a roof instead of rigging every piece past it.

Bucket trucks

Fast, safe aerial access for roadside, right-of-way and clearance work.

Stump grinders

Narrow-access machines that fit a 36″ gate, plus the big iron for the big stumps.

Chippers & grapple trucks

The reason the debris actually leaves instead of sitting in your yard for a week.

Skid steers & loaders

Land clearing, brush handling and site cleanup at scale.

Turf protection

Mats and plywood so heavy iron doesn’t leave you a rutted lawn.
