About Aaron’s Tree Service
One owner, one town, 25 years. Aaron Arnold started this company in Millington, Tennessee in 2001 and he still runs it.
Aaron Arnold still runs it
Aaron Arnold started this company in 2001 with a truck, a saw and a rule he has never broken: tell the customer the truth, do the work right, and leave the place cleaner than you found it.
Twenty-five years later the equipment is bigger, the crews are deeper and the map runs coast to coast — but that is still the entire operating philosophy, and he still runs the company. There is no private equity roll-up here, no regional vice president, no franchise agreement. If you have a problem, the man whose name is on the trucks is the man who fixes it.
What Aaron is actually known for in this trade is tight positions. Trees over roofs. Trees between a pool and a sunroom with eighteen inches of daylight. Decayed trunks that cannot hold a climber. Backyards where the only route in is over the house. A customer once described a pine growing directly over her roof coming down in sections after his crew removed a fence panel and built a brace to protect the shed — and then wrote that the site was clean before mid-afternoon. That is thirty years of reading wood and load paths, and it does not come out of a manual.
The other thing worth knowing about him is a story from a customer review. She was collecting bids. Aaron told her to make sure she saw every other company’s insurance paperwork before hiring anybody, so she would not be exposed if somebody got hurt on her property. He handed a prospect the exact question most likely to make her scrutinize him — because it was the right advice, and because he had nothing to hide.
That is the attitude the whole company runs on, from a two-hour stump grind in Bartlett to a multi-crew deployment after a hurricane. Show up when you said. Do what you said. Charge what you quoted. Clean up like you were never there.

Founder-owned means something here
There are a lot of tree companies in the Mid-South that are actually call centers, lead brokers or out-of-state franchises with a local phone number. When you call them you are a lead, and your job gets sold to whoever is available.
Aaron’s is not that. Aaron Arnold founded this company in 2001, he lives in Millington, and if you call the number on this website you are going to end up talking to the people who will actually be standing in your yard.
What we are known for
We have been doing this long enough to know what customers actually remember, and it is almost never the cutting. It is three things:
The cleanup. Over the years three separate customers have written some version of the same sentence — that when we left, you would never have known we were there. That is not marketing copy we invented; it is what people independently wrote. It is also the standard the crew is held to.
Answering the phone. One customer wrote that Aaron called her back within fifteen minutes of her first call and had an appointment on the books inside twenty-four hours. Another mentioned that Aaron came out on a Sunday afternoon to look at her trees. That is how this business has always been run.
The price holding. “I paid exactly what was quoted.” In a trade with a reputation for surprises once the trucks are in the driveway, that sentence is worth more than any slogan.
Honest to a fault, occasionally to our own cost
Here is a story from a review a customer left in 2012. She was getting multiple estimates. Aaron told her to make sure she saw every other company’s insurance paperwork before she hired anybody, so she would not be exposed if somebody got hurt on her property.
Think about that for a second. He handed a customer the exact question most likely to make her scrutinize him too — because it was the right advice. That is still how we operate. Ask us for our certificate of insurance. Ask everybody.
The work we do
Residential removals and trimming across the Memphis metro. Commercial and HOA maintenance contracts. Storm response across seven states. Land clearing on acreage. Crane work on trees nobody else wants to touch. And installation and installation-adjacent work around Naval Support Activity Mid-South, which happens to be in our own town.
Where we are going
Bigger equipment, more crews, and the same standard. The thing that has kept this company alive for 25 years is not the saws. It is that people call us back, and they tell their neighbors. One reviewer hired us twice and then his next-door neighbor hired us too. That is the whole business model.

25 years of Mid-South trees, and the cleanest job sites in the business
Aaron Arnold started this company in 2001 out of Millington, Tennessee. Same owner, same town, same standard. We have taken trees off houses in the middle of the night and cleared fence lines in the middle of a July afternoon, and the thing customers write about afterward is almost always the same.
- You’d never know we were here. Three separate customers wrote that, independently, in their own words.
- Fast answers. One customer got a callback in 15 minutes and an appointment inside 24 hours. That’s the standard.
- The price you were quoted. Written, itemized, and it doesn’t move once the trucks show up.
- Licensed, bonded and fully insured — and we’ll hand you the certificate before you ask.
- Real equipment. Cranes, buckets, grapple trucks, chippers and grinders — so your tree gets the right machine, not the closest one.
- A crew people like having in the yard. Polite, on time, and they clean up after themselves.

A ton of equipment, because the right machine is the whole job
Most tree companies in this market will not tell you what they actually own. Here is ours — because whether your tree needs a crane or a climber is the difference between a clean job and an expensive story.
Crane service
Pick whole sections out over a roof instead of rigging every piece past it.
Bucket trucks
Fast, safe aerial access for roadside, right-of-way and clearance work.
Stump grinders
Narrow-access machines that fit a 36″ gate, plus the big iron for the big stumps.
Chippers & grapple trucks
The reason the debris actually leaves instead of sitting in your yard for a week.
Skid steers & loaders
Land clearing, brush handling and site cleanup at scale.
Turf protection
Mats and plywood so heavy iron doesn’t leave you a rutted lawn.
